A little about me.


I became a stay at home working mom about 5 years ago after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia.  Before the diagnosis I was a medical assistant for over 10 years.


I always wanted to learn how to crochet and I figures what a better time than now.  I bought a how-to book and taught myself.  Soon I was making items for family and friends.  Several people suggested that I should start selling my work.  I figured, why not give it a try.  Plus it may help bring a little income since I had to stop working outside the home.


That is how My Beautiful Mia came to be, named after my baby niece Mia.
